Masons Helping Masons
Recently, a group of Brothers from
Zephyr Lodge 198 worked together to build a wheelchair ramp for Bro. Bennett of Brandon Lodge but who resides here in Zephyrhills.

Working on the project were
Worshipful Bob Skrapka, Dave Schneck, Chuck Smith, Tom Goldthwaite, Lee Dorsey,
Howie Bell, and Russ Trefethen - who was not shown because he was taking pictures. With adequate help and six opinions, the job only took three days. ‘nuff said.

Zephyr Lodge’s Blood Bank

Zephyr Lodge’s Blood Chairman, S.W. Russ Trefethen has authorized the release of two
blood credits to Bro. Max Howard who was rushed to the NFRH in Gainsville with a serious problem. We hope this helps Bro. Max and we wish him a speedy recovery.

From 12 noon to 5:00pm
At Wal-mart
 Child ID Program
Masons from Citrus Lodge #118 F. & A.M. fingerprinted and video taped 67 children for their parents and guardians at the Super Wal-Mart Center in Inverness.
The program is designed to assist Law Enforcement Agencies in the recovery of children. The program is free to all participants and only requires a permission slip signed by the parent or guardian of the child. The parents receive the fingerprint card, a video and child information sheet, as well as, instruction on how to obtain and store DNA samples. This is just one way that
"Freemasons are working for the Community".

Masons Present
A Picture of George Washington

to Bushnell National Memorial Cemetery

Thirty-five Masons from the Masters & Wardens Association of
the 19th Masonic District of Florida
assembled Friday, February 13th 2004 at the Bushnell National Memorial Cemetery
to present a picture of George Washington, on behalf of
The Most Worshipful Grand Lodge of Free & Accepted Masons of Florida.

R\W\ Frederick Harman, D.D.G.M. of the 19th District
presided over the event and along
with M
\W\ George Palmer, President of the Masters & Wardens Association
made the presentation to the Head Administrator Mr. Murphy.

The picture depicting George Washington in his Masonic Regalia and presiding over his Lodge will be put on display in the Visitors Center, once again leaving the Masonic thumbprint on this great Nation of ours. What more fitting place could there be for the depiction of our first Commander-in-Chief, this American Patriot, this Statesman, this FREEMASON than the final resting place of so many of our Nations Veterans?
